In the second episode of All in Good Storytime, we discuss chapters 17 through 30 of Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale. We cover the ceremony, a birth, connections between bodies, visits with the commander, and intimacy. We delve deeper into Moira's character, clarify a few points about Offred's mother, analyze Luke, and trash the Commander. We also highlight how certain situations in the book are currently playing out in our society such as capitalizing on a fearful public. We end by making predictions regarding who truly runs the totalitarian regime of Gilead.
