About

There’s always something to do in New York City. For a city of over 8 Billion, the media produced and shared all over the city is as diverse and prolific as New Yorkers themselves. From the slightly pretentious art openings in Bushwick to trashy romance reading groups, there’s a little something for every taste, every medium, every person to enjoy.

Thelonia is a native New Yorker and while she looks for gainful employment in publishing (pls hire me), she roams the city consuming all the media she can get her little paws on.

She likes musicals and documentaries about death, and especially where the two overlap. Having spent about a year and a half researching and writing about werewolves, she also has a soft spot for weird supernatural stories, be they horror or horror-comedy.

New York, while an epicenter of culture and creativity, is also a grimy gross hellhole, so this all works out well.

Los Angeles is the sprawling, sunny home of both Cali natives and many eager transplants working in entertainment. It's a city of nomads, freelancers, and artists—a land where you must be filled with passion just to survive.

Tia hails from North Florida
originally, but has lived in New York City, Ithaca, and now Los Angeles. She has worked on the Bravo reality shows Vanderpump Rules, Shahs of Sunset, and Vanderpump Rules: Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky. She is also working as an editor on the short film The Ridge and several Cornell Outdoor Education short documentaries.

Although her work has been primarily in reality thus far, her dream lies in screenwriting and editing. She's a television lover at heart—with past experience working in publishing, PR, and marketing—and is an internet kid with a special love for YouTube and Tumblr.

As a pop-culture-loving media super consumer, living in LA has been a (weird, fun) dream.
